Cast Of Hawks

… or something like that.

Three days of carving, beautiful weather, great big tree and wonderful clients. Does it get any better than that?
They weren’t sure what they wanted, but had recently seen a hawk flying around the area and wondered if I could do something. This is what I came up with.

This is the focal point where they spend most of their free time.

This is the tree before I started working on it and is also the view point from the porch seat.

And this is what I came up with and what they get to see every day.

Pirate Carving in Grand Bend Ontario

One of the unknown Sailors (Bones) from the WexFord, shipwrecked in the great storm of 1913  just off the coast by Grand Bend and Goderich, Ontario.  Bones keeps a weather eye to the horizon for his lost ship and shipmates.

Chainsaw carving of a little bears. Old Mill - Black Bear

Old Mill Road, Red Tailed Hawk, Kitchener, Ontario

Willy and Sharon commissioned me to carve these three stumps for their property. A property I must say is quite the Shangri La for an in the city property. It was such a pleasure to be working in such beautiful place and such a great group of people.  Over the weekend I carved the Red Tailed Hawk, a cute little bear and a Great Horned Owl/Totem pole. My style.

Here is the before and after shots of the Hawk.
